John 13

“Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end” John 13:1

Last week the man who started Sending Hope International was here in Thailand with us. In the evenings we would all dive into the word together with him. On his last night here in Thailand he read us the story of John 13 where Jesus washes the disciples feet. And about how he showed the disciples his love for them by washing their feet and giving an example of how we need to serve others. “If I then your Lord and teacher have washed your feet you also ought to wash one another feet.”13:4

Every night we go to the pavilion and do worship with all the girls, each night its pretty much the same we sings some Thai worship songs, we listen to a bible story, sometimes we tell the Bible story, and then hugs and good nights. But one night we went to worship with the girls and while we were singing their songs, they started lining up chairs then the girls lead each of us to a chair sat us down, set a towel at each of our feet and set tubs of water in front of each of us, lined up, and began washing our feet and praying over us. It was such sweet moment for all of us. ♡
