It is just so crazy that we only have one month left here in Asia. Thailand is just so beautiful. We spend our days with the girls here. In the morning we play games, teach dances, and learn Thai dances from the girls, Then we break up into our different English classes. Tabitha, Emily, and I teach the younger girls English. We started on the alphabet we made flash cards, then we moved on to colors and painted a lot with them, now we are working on phrases, feelings, and sickness. They are a super fun and smart group of girls. In the afternoon we hang out with the girls and will usually watch and movie and spend time getting lice out if their hair. Then every night we have worship with the girls and it is so fun. That’s how our weekdays here go usually. Saturdays are our off days and we usually will drive up to Chang Rai and go to the mall and the grocery store, or up to Chang Mai and walk around down there and explore. Sundays we have church in the morning and we usually go back to the house and will all watch a sermon (in English) together. Then we have the rest of the day free. In our free time we usually will all hang out together watching movies, talking, running, and eating lots of snacks. And hang with the dopest, most rad girl ever, DABitha martin.(thank you Tabitha for the addition). Some things we have done in Thailand are, for my teammates birthday we went to an elephant sanctuary where we hiked with them, played in mud, and swam with them and after one of my teammates got baptized. On halloween we all decided to dress up as Disney princesses, we obviously didn’t have any princess stuff so we went through each others clothes to make us all look almost like princesses then went and hung out with the girls and gave them princess makeovers and took tons of pictures. At the orphanage for birthdays they do one big bonfire at the end of the month with cake and singing and dancing. Its so fun we did that last week and it was the best time. Im very excited to see what God has in store for this last month.
